Caridad Concepcion Tomeu ("Beba"), 91, of Valrico FL, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2018. She was surrounded by her loving family. Born in Camaguey, Cuba on October 23, 1926, she immigrated to the United States in 1961 escaping communism. She was warm, humble and a loving mother to her three children Maria H. Tomeu, Adela Oliva, MD (Robert Oliva, MD) and Oliver A. Tomeu (Kimberly). She leaves behind one brother, Jorge Tomeu (Antonia), seven grandchildren and four great-grandsons. She was always very proud of her Cuban roots but also loved her adopted country for all that it stood for. She will forever be in our hearts. Funeral services will be held Saturday , September 15 at 11 am with the viewing and prayer service, followed by interment at 2 pm , at Serenity Meadows, 6919 Providence Rd., Riverview, FL 33569 .
