PETERSON, Calvin C. "Pete" passed away November 26, 2018.
He was born in Cromwell Township, PA, December 8, 1924. He was happily married for 61 years to Velma Ford Peterson. He was a veteran and served in the Army Air Force. He worked for most of his career as a Millwright with Local Union 1000 and enjoyed a long and happy retirement. He was a devoted member of the Brandon Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Velma.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Pam Copher (Richard), Debbie Meadows(Jerry), Carla Dever (Bill);
grandchildren, Sophia Waite(Chris), Heather Sweeney(Dennis), Shannon Sarmiento (Robert), Jeffrey Meadows(Allison); great-grandchildren, Jacob, Koby, Grant, Lily, Hayden, Halle, Samantha, Jeremy, Adriana; great-great-grandchild, Ella; two sisters; a brother; along with many loving family members.
He was a wonderful husband and father, always devoted to his family and friends.
His integrity, kindness, and upbeat spirit will be remembered and serve as an example for us all.
He will be greatly missed.
Visitation and funeral service will be held at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, 6919 Providence Road, Riverview, Tuesday, December 4. Visitation will be from 11 am-12 pm. The funeral service will begin at 12 pm. Graveside service to follow.
