Foster, C. Calvin, 87, of Riverview, Florida, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at his residence following an extended illness. Calvin was a native of Tampa, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Cleveland and Eudean Foster, two brothers, Marvin R. Foster and Kenton D. Foster. He graduated from Riverside Military Academy in Gainsville, Georgia in 1945. Prior to retiring, Calvin was Owner, President, and Chairman of the Board of Tampa Marine Supply Company, Inc. from 1945 to 1990. Survivors include his loving wife Barbara of Riverview, Florida, his children, Jim (Lynda) Foster, Safety Harbor, Florida, Cle (Jerri) Foster, Brandon, Florida, Mary Callie ( Frank) Shipman, Asheville, North Carolina, 8 grandchildren , 13 great grandchildren , and several other relatives and friends. He will be remembered as a wonderful, loving husband, father and a devoted Buccaneer fan. A Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 1pm. The family will receive guests from 12pm to the start of the service.
