Brisson
Monperousse
May 30, 1939 — February 16, 2022
Brisson Monperousse, 82, passed away on February 16, 2022 in Riverview, Florida. He was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and he moved to New York when he was in his twenties. He became an electrician and after living in New York for over 40 years, he retired to Florida. Brisson was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who was and is loved dearly by his wife, children, family and loved ones. He was the proud patriarch of his family and everyone turned to him when they needed a fatherly figure for advice, or a friendly ear to just listen and offer support. He enjoyed helping others in so many ways. He loved to cook delicious meals; he loved listening to music, especially jazz music and Haitian music. He enjoyed watching soccer, wrestling, and westerns. He was a wonderful conversationalist who had knowledge with just about anything. He loved to laugh and he loved being surrounded by his loved ones. His loss is monumental and he is greatly missed. He is survived by his wife Jocelyne; his children Nancy, Mike, and Cassandra; his six grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a large family who will always cherish his memory.
