Lee, Brian Scott, 31, of Riverview passed away on Friday, December 30, 2011. Born in Tampa, he was a lifelong resident. Brian graduated Jesuit High School, summa cum laude, a member of the National Honor Society, French Club, Spanish Club, NFL - Debate Team, Mask Club, Shamrock Club and yearbook staff. He received the John Phillip Sousa and Richard Hartnett, S.J. awards for outstanding achievement, numerous awards for French, Spanish and music. He played the trumpet, was the Liturgical Musician, a member of the Tampa Bay Youth Orchestra, a member of the Jesuit band and the Knights of Columbus. He attended Loyola University Chicago, St John's College in Annapolis and most recently the University of Maryland in Baltimore pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and continuing on in the science and medical field. Brian is survived by his parents, Bobby & Andrea Lee; brother, Christopher R. Lee & Melissa Beaver; nephews, JJ and Cameron Lee; paternal grandmother, Betty R. Lee; maternal grandparents, Betty & Charlie Cooper, Jimmie & Happy Alderman; aunts & uncles, Linda Lee, Donald Lee, Jim Alderman II & Jodi DiSantis, Carol & Jim Paschall, Phyllis & Bob Harman, David Alderman, Michael & Brenda Anthony, and several cousins. A Catholic Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Jesuit High School Chapel; 4701 North Himes Ave, Tampa, FL 33614. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Jesuit High School Scholarship Fund.
