Obituary

Brandi Crystal Lynn Konier passed away unexpectedly on April 6, 2024 at the age of 40. She was born to Thomas and Janet (Hankins) Konier in Joliet, IL on July 25, 1983. Brandi grew up in Plainfield, IL with her loving parents and fun-spirited siblings; Thomas, Kevin and Meghan. As the oldest of her siblings and cousins, Brandi's relatives remember her being naturally nurturing, loving, charismatic and fun.

She was soft spoken and had a personality of poise. Whether she was playing pretend battles with the boys or giving makeovers and having dance parties with the girls, she made everyone she was with feel special. After graduating from George Jenkins High School (located in Polk County, Florida) in 2001,

Brandi returned to Illinois where she fell in love, traveled the world, and had three beautiful children; Aiden, Kaelyn and Ryan. Her children forever changed her life, making motherhood her greatest blessing. As a mother, Brandi was caring, protective, kind, loving and supportive of her children. Aiden, Kaelyn and Ryan were and will forever be her entire world.

Brandi had a love for learning. She received her Pharmacy Technician Diploma in 2013 and went on to receive her Bachelors of Applied Science in 2021. She had a career in healthcare with hopes and dreams of returning to school to receive a psychology degree to further her career and to help others.

Brandi loved Winnie the Pooh, Friends, I Love Lucy, Taco Bell, dolphins, the color purple, dancing and doing crafts. She had many crafted picture frames of her children in her home; collected Winne the Pooh books and décor; and enjoyed watching episodes of Friends and I Love Lucy.

Brandi was a beautiful person inside and out. She had a brave spirit, kind heart, and sensitive -yet calming demeanor. She loved her children and family and relied on their support, comfort and grace. Her steadfast love for the Lord never wavered no matter what storm she endured

Brandi's presence, smile and laugh captivated a room leaving a lasting impression that will be so deeply missed.

Brandi is survived by her parents; Thomas and Janet Konier, her children; Aiden, Kaelyn and Ryan Tranchitello, her siblings; Kevin Konier and Meghan Konier and countless other beloved family and friends. Waiting for her at the gates of Heaven are her brother, Thomas Konier, maternal grandfather, Jim Hankins, paternal aunt, Shery Ronzone, and paternal grandfather, Robert Konier.

"If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together, there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is even if we are apart, I'll always be with you." Winnie the Pooh
