Obituary

Bonnie L. Farmer, 80, of Apollo Beach, FL, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at the Sun City Center Hospice House in Ruskin, FL.  Born on June 27, 1938 in Baker County, Georgia to the proud parents of James & Mildred (Brown) Mitchell, Bonnie was the former owner of Farmer's Tropical Fish Farm.  She came to the area from Georgia in 1940 and was a member of First Baptist Church of Ruskin.  She also enjoyed crafts.  Survivors include her loving daughters: Bonnie (Bill) Howard of Apollo Beach, FL & Cheryl (Jim) Clerc of Calhoun, GA; her beloved sisters: Millie Shepherd of Sun City Center, FL & Marie (Gary) Stanley of GA; her three grandchildren: Billy Howard, Marc Clerc & David Clerc and four great-grandchildren: Hank & Cash Howard, Amelia & Myles Clerc.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Mildred Mitchell; her husband, Donald Farmer; her son, James "Jimmy" Farmer; her brother, Lynwood Mitchell and her sister, Betty Walker.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Ruskin.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bonnies' honor to LifePath Hospice of Sun City Center @ www.chaptershealth.org
