Bobby (Bob) Ford passed away August 6, 2021 in his new home in Sun City, Fla. He was born in Sarasota on October 9, 1937 to Ruth and Earl Ford. He had six brothers and four sisters. Evelyn Sanchez (Bobby dec.) , Grady Ford(June dec.), Patricia Gonzalez (Fred), Gary Ford (Kathy). Bobby also had many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Lamar Ford, Velma Peterson, Gordon Ford, Loraine Parker, Clyde Ford and Ken Ford.

The family moved to the Tampa Bay area where Bobby graduated from Brandon High School. In 1957, He married Judith Vahey. The two had their son Robert John (Leslia).Bobby worked as a millwright and owned a successful carpet business with his son for forty- five years. He worked with Addison Dicus Bailey up until he retired. Bobby had a partnership with Leonard, Henry and James Douglas (HJF). He invested in real estate properties in Tennessee. Bobby loved to fish, travel and always had a project going, which included his log cabin in Tennessee, he loved dearly. He will be missed by his family and many friends.
