Charles and Bobbie moved to Tampa in 1957 with two small children, in search of better employment opportunities. Bobbie was a teacher and taught in a few different schools in the Tampa area for a few years until she was hired as a secretary/assistant with Hillsborough County Schools Library Processing Center in 1962. While still working and now with five children, Bobbie went back to night school at USF and received a Masters in Library Science. In 1976 Bobbie was promoted to the head position after Mrs. Goodbread retired. Bobbie served Hillsborough County for 35 years and retired in April of 1997. All that was left on her plate was to do a little fishing, some traveling, baking and hand quilting. Bobbie is survived by her Husband Charles, children Terry, Toni, Mark, Joel and Scott, 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
