Betty Joyce Kickliter, of Sun City Center, ended her 4 ¿ year battle with ovarian cancer and went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 16, 2009.

Betty was born May 9, 1932 in Balm, FL and was a lifetime resident of South Hillsborough County. She was an active member of the East Bay Campus of Bell Shoals Baptist Church and will forever be remembered as a devoted mother, precious "GG", beloved sister and aunt, faithful servant, and loyal friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband James E. Kickliter, Jr. She is survived by two daughters, Vicki Dotson (Randy), Robin Strickland (Patrick); her sister, Billie Drawdy (Berlie); four grandsons, Sean Dotson (Cherry), Kyle Dotson, Zackary Strickland, Dylan Strickland; two great-grandchildren, Max and Riley Dotson; as well as, a large extended family and many, many friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2009 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, 6919 Providence Road, Riverview, FL. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday July 22, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at her church; East Bay Campus of Bell Shoals Baptist Church, 12011 East Bay Road, Gibsonton, FL.
