Betty C. Booth, 81, of Brandon, went home to be with the Lord on November 9, 2018. Betty was born in Pelham, GA but lived most of her life in Winter Haven and Brandon. She was a loving wife, mother and Nonnie. She was a member of Bell Shoals Baptist Church and was very strong in her faith. Betty retired from Burnup and Sims/MasTec where she worked for many years. After retirement Betty enjoyed working alongside her husband Jerry, during the Florida State Fair. Betty also enjoyed volunteering at the voting polls. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Betty was an avid reader who also took great pride in her home. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Jerry Booth; and dearly loved sisters, Peggy Miller and Jean Williams. Betty is survived by her loving family; daughters, Kathy (Bill) Gadd and Cindy (Scott) Gierke; grandchildren, Shannon (Ian) Jones, Heather, McKay, Megan (Ryan) Goode, Philip Tampourlos, and Jonathan Gierke; and great grandchildren, Hannah Goode and Micah Gierke; sisters, Patsy Johnson and June Allen; brother, Larry (Wanda) Cox; sisters-in-law, Barbara Stabler and Betty L. Booth.  Betty had other loved family members including many nieces and nephews.  There will be a visitation on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Serenity Meadows, followed by a graveside committal service at 1:00 pm.
