Wallin, Bertil W, 74, of Apollo Beach, passed away on April 12, 2009. Bert was a Major in the United States Air Force, where he served as a pilot. He was the owner of K & B Travel and a member of the Board of Directors for the Riverview Chamber of Commerce. He was also a proud member of the Ruskin, Apollo Beach and Sun City Center Chambers of Commerce. Bert is survived by his loving family, wife of 54 years, Kathleen; sons, Jay (Cindy), Gregory (Hiromi) and Michael (Maria); granddaughters, Elisabeth, Christina and Jasmine and his extended family and wonderful friends. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. A Celebration of Bert's Life will be on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. He will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery. Bert dedicated his life to his country, his family and his wife, and he was often seen hand in hand in an unending romance with his beautiful wife, Kathy. His laughter and sense of humor brought all he encountered together.
