Bennie Martin Morris sadly passed away on February 22, 2023 at the age of 78. He was born to the late
Franklin "Donald" and Eddress Morris, on April 30, 1944, in Coleman, Alabama. He graduated from
Brandon High School in 1962. He retired after 22 years from the United States Air Force where he served
as a Master Chief. Ben is survived by his three children, Donald (Roxann), Sheri (Max), and Marty
(Missy); grandchildren, James, Ricky, Sean, Ashley, Alyssa, Jimmy, Kelsey, and Conner; great-
grandchildren, Kaylen, Kayden, Destinee, Rylie, Karson, Kylie, Parker, and Kash; his brother, Jerry, as well
as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his late wife, Mary Lou, and his late brother,
Charles. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed sitting on his
porch, fishing, boating, wine, the Miami Dolphins, gardening, reading, building in his wood shop, and his
yorkies. A celebration of life will be held for family and friends on Sunday, February 26 th at 2pm at 2707
Washington Rd., Valrico, FL.
