O'Steen, Benjamin F., 84, of Sun City Center, went to be with the Lord on October 12, 2011. Benjamin had served as a merchant marine. He was a deacon at Friendship Baptist Church in Sun City Center. He is survived by his loving family, wife of 65 years, Pearl; children, Leon (Barbara), Ron, and Pat; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. There will be a funeral service on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 11:00 am at Turkey Creek First Baptist Church, 4915 W. Trapnell Rd, Plant City, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. He will be laid to rest at Garden of Memories.
