Brekhus, Benjamin J., 27, of Valrico, FL, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on December 30, 2015 after a 5 year battle with cancer. Benjamin graduated from FSU with a degree in economics. He worked as an accountant at SEI Investments in Philadelphia. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, writing poetry, and was a hard worker. He is survived by his loving family, parents, Virginia and Edward Brekhus; brothers, David Brekhus and Luke Brekhus; grandmother, Kathryn Greene; aunts and uncle, Julia Fox, Charles Fox, and Martha Brekhus Marsh. There will be a memorial service on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Andrews United Methodist Church.
