Beatriz Shireling, age 90, of Temple Terrace and Sun City, passed away peacefully on October 24th surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Barranquilla, Columbia. She married Robert Shireling Jr. in 1953 in Fort Gulick. Panama. They blossomed into a beautiful life rooted in grace, resilience, and an unwavering devotion to the people they loved.

She is survived by her two sons Bob and Bill Shireling, their wives, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored. Family was the heart of her world- no birthday was left without a card or phone call from her and no celebration was complete without her thoughtful touch. She had a gift for making everyone feel special, remembered, and loved. Whether it was a favorite side dish, a plant exchange, or a tasty Christmas cookie, she had a way of turning simple moments into treasured memories.

A lifelong gardener, she was a member of Temple Terrace Garden Club. She treated her plants like family and filled her home with life and beauty. She believed in nurturing—flowers, family, and friendships. Her hands were rarely still, always busy baking treats, tending her garden, or volunteering with her church, Christ our Redeemer.

Though small in stature, she had a big heart and a spirited personality. She was sharp, witty, and wonderfully loyal. She always remembered the smallest details from the past. She never missed her daily soap operas and, even at 90 years old, proudly made time for her gym routine and church. Her determination and energy inspired everyone who knew her.

She will be deeply missed, but her memory will remain forever in the lives she brightened.

Bea's funeral service will be held on November 15th at Serenity Meadows, Riverview, Fl., with Visitation at 10am and Service at 11am
