Carpenter, Beatrice E. (Schrader), also known as Mrs. "C",went home to Jesus on October 19, 2012, at the age of 91. She is survived by her son, Dennis J. Carpenter, and his wife Alicia and their two daughters, Sarah Sheffield and Jessica Simonds, all of Seffner; her daughter Debbie Hatcher, and her husband Ray Hatcher, of Lakeland; one sister, Alice Carpenter of Michigan; one nephew David Carpenter and his wife, Donna, of Michigan, and their two sons Donald and Danny and their wives, of Michigan; and many friends and associates. Beatrice was born in Imlay City, Michigan, July 12, 1921. She graduated from the Detroit Business Institute, worked for Price Waterhouse for 25 years, attended Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and transferred to Good Shepherd Lutheran in Tampa. She served as the treasurer for the Ladies group, did volunteer work at the church, and was a member of the prayer team. Beatrice moved to Seffner in 2001. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, or your favorite charity.
