Mrs. Barbara Ann Terrell was born on May 3, 1940, in Kingston, Jamaica, to the late Oswald Stewart and Edna Walters Spence. She passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, at the age of 84. Barbara relocated to Miami, FL in the 1960s, where she met and married the love of her life, William C. Terrell Sr., whom she affectionately called Sweets. She was a devoted member of St. James A.M.E. Church until she relocated to
Georgia.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Oswald Stewart and Edna Walters Spence, sister, Norma Collins, and son, Gary Jones.

Barbara is survived by her devoted husband, William C. Terrell Sr, brothers, Wayne Spence and Georgie Spence, cherished children: Corinne Johnson, Maxine Chavers, Ann Marie Williams (Harry James Williams III), Anthony Jones, and William C. Terrell Jr. She was a beloved grandmother to:Christopher Johnson, Louis James Johnson Jr, Carissa Johnson, Calvin Johnson, Jerome Douglas Chavers Jr, Jerald Chavers, Jessica Chavers, Harry James Williams IV, Jasmine Williams, Gavin T. Williams, Antoinette Jones, Sylvia Jones, William C. Terrell III, Hunter Terrell, and Ayanna Riley; 19 greatgrandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Her family remembers her for her passion for cooking delectable meals, unwavering love for fishing, enjoyment of shopping, and adventurous spirit for traveling to beautiful destinations. Barbara pursued a career in the travel industry, having graduated from the Jamaica Tourist Board Travel College, leaving a mark in the field she loved so dearly.

Her love of family and culinary skills brought warmth and happiness to those around her, making her an irreplaceable presence in their lives. Her legacy of love and kindness will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her
