Barbara Ann Saxton (McDonough) was born on June 21, 1939 in Camden, NJ and died April 13, 2024 in Akron, PA.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ruth McDonough (Cliver), her husband, Clifton B Saxton Jr., her brother, Edward McDonough Jr. and her step son, Clifton (Rusty) Saxton. She is survived by her sisters, Nancy Godbey (McDonough), Linda Ryan (McDonough) and her two daughters, Nancy Pratz (Saxton) and Abigayle Guffey (Saxton) and 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Barbara married the love of her life, Clifton B Saxton Jr. on November 24, 1962. They raised 4 children together. Dana Saxton Haddon Township, NJ), Clifton (Rusty) Saxton (Tampa, FL), Nancy Pratz (Akron, PA) and Abigayle Guffey (Tampa, FL).

Throughout her life, Barbara worked as a secretary, book keeper and picture framer. She devoted her life to her husband, children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed serving within her church community and discipling young women.  Clifton and Barbara retired from the cold winters in NJ and moved to Florida in 1992. They were happily married for 38 years.

Her loving smile, laugh and tender touch will be greatly missed.
