MEGHIE, Barbara Augustine, 81, was called to join the Kingdom of Heaven on Thursday, October 22, 2015. After a valiant fight, her unwavering faith in God, and the love and prayers of family, friends, and many supporters carried her through an arduous journey home. Barbara was born on March 15, 1934 in Kingston, Jamaica to Walter and Mary Grizzle. Barbara is survived by: Children & Spouses: Christopher and Patricia Meghie, Michelle Souvenir, Simone and James Davis. Grandchildren: Alecia Meghie, Shardarne Meghie, Anderson Souvenir Jr., Owen Davis, and Nina Davis. Barbara was a Loving Mother, Nurturing Grandmother, Adoring Sister, Cherished Aunt, and Treasured Friend. The family will celebrate Barbara's life 10:00 am, Sunday, November 1, 2015, with a viewing for friends an hour prior to services at Brandon Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
