In Memory of Ava Napoleon

Ava Marie Napoleon, 68, of Dover, Florida passed away on April 6, 2024 after a brave battle with cancer. She was a beautiful, strong woman of God and an incredible wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. Ava was married to Berthony Napoleon for 42 years. Together, they had two daughters, Fatemah Napoleon and Natalia Napoleon De Bens (husband, Tom De Bens), and a grandson, Luka De Bens. She also is mourned by four sisters (Cindy, Pamela, Helen, Ellen), five brothers (Michael, Allan, Mark, Sanderson and Patrick), one aunt (Jerry Hailes) and a host of other loving relatives. Ava was pre-deceased by her older brother David. Ava was born on February 12, 1956 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to the late Helen Fobbs Edwards and was raised by her late grandparents Joseph and Idelle Fobbs.  After completing high school, Ava earned her bachelor's degree in early childhood education while serving her country in the United States Air Force. She was honorably discharged after completing her tour of duty and became a home-maker, raising her children with Berthony. Later, Ava worked for mission driven companies and non-profits focused on her passion, the welfare of young children.  She put her heart into her family and everything she touched.
