Aurille Boyce was born on in Christ Church, Barbados, W.I. an on April 7, 2009 and at the age of 77 she was called home. Aurille was married to the late Granville Clarke, and from this union they had two sons. Cebert Boyce and Aurille were married in 1975.
In Barbados, Aurille graduated from The Modern High School and worked as the office manager at Zephrin's Bakery. Later she left to pursue her studies in America. After graduation she returned to Barbados. She worked as secretary to the general manager at Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation before migrating to the US. She lived in Brooklyn, New York for many years. In the USA, Aurille worked for The Girls" Scouts organization, Metro media Broadcasting and New York University, School of Dentistry until she retired. After her retirement she relocated with her family to Riverview, Tampa, Florida.
She loved cooking, decorating and fashion. She never left her house unless she had on makeup, matching outfit and was well decked out. She had an eye for coordinating colors and designed her homes beautifully. She even refused to buy toilet tissue or paper towels unless they matched the decor in the rooms. She had excellent organizational skills that followed from her home to the office. Her dining table was always set daily for meals with tablemats, knife and fork, glasses etc. You could not sit around to eat; you had to sit at the table. She was an excellent cook and even made the most tasteful potato salad even though she did not eat it.
She will be greatly miss by her loving husband, Cebert, sons; Michael and Richard Clarke, daughter-in-law Yvonne, grand children; Stephen, Lisa, Christopher, sister; Inez, brother; Leroy and his wife Edith, all the Clarke and Boyce families, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
