Obituary

ROQUE, Augustine "Augie" M., 64, born August 31, 1943,
a native and lifelong resident of Tampa passed away suddenly
on December 19, 2007.

Augie grew up in West Tampa. As a young man in the 1950's
he pitched many no hitter games against Cuba in a Pony League Series.
Circumstances took him away from baseball.
He was a proud graduate of the Hillsborough High School Adult Program.
Augie was the best plumber in Tampa Bay and the surrounding area.

He was a very caring man and always took pride in his family and his work.
His favorite place to hang out was, Brocato's Sandwich Shop,
"when Brocato's was Brocato's."
He enjoyed spending time with all his
friends and buddies, telling stories about who caught the biggest fish and
drank the most beer.

He was preceded in death by his
parents, Florentino Macho Roque and Thelma Elizabeth Altman Roque,
brother, Sonny Roque and sister, Margaret Rodriguez.

Surviving are his wife and best friend, Suzanne D. Roque,
his devoted children, Julie Ann (Derek) Bayer,
Michael Stephen (Cynthia) and Paul Eugene Roque
and their mother, Barbara E. Sharp,
13 grandchildren, Michael Lee, Summer Lee, Joy Charlotte,
John Adam, Bryan Stephen, Jeremy Shane, Heather Marie, Shannon Marie,
Timothy Paul and Anthony Macho, Candida,
also including Gage and Kelsey,
two beloved great-grandchildren, Jacob and Alexis,
two sisters, Virginia (Stewart) Jones and
Hazel (William) Slayton,
two brothers, Willie (Phyllis) and Manuel (Cynthia) Roque and
many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at
Serenity Meadows Funeral Home,
6919 Providence Road, Riverview, FL on Thursday,
December 27, 2007 from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
A Memorial Remembrance Service will be held at 6:00 pm.
Augie's family will honor his favorite saying and wish,
"to be scattered over the Gulf of Mexico to be with the Mermaids."
A loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend, Augie will be dearly missed.
