ALONSO, Audrey T., 82, passed away Monday, January 19, 2009 in Brandon. She was born in Middleton, WI and at a very young age the family moved to Madison, WI to farm, to which is now "Tiedeman's Pond" a historical site. Audrey was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Pete. She is survived by: her six children, Deborah Alonso-Harrison (Charlie), David (Alice), Bruce (Michele), Glenn (Kim), Wayne (Bobbi), Sondra Alonso; grandchildren, Craig, Kristine, Jacob, Callie and Mayling; sister, Lois A. Pierstorff; nieces and nephews in Wisconsin, devoted friends for over 50 years Carmen Torres, Maria Pescador, Wanda Clark, and Jack Wychoff. Audrey attended nursing school for x-ray technician in Madison, WI. Moved to Tampa in 1945, worked/ trained at Tampa General Hospital from 1945 - 1950. After marriage, Audrey became a loving wife and mother. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. The family would like to thank Hawthorne Village, Brandon for her care over the past years and LifePath Hospice for their support. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 23, 2009 at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park, 6919 Providence Rd, Riverview. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
