Asuka Mohip January 3, 1964 to February 22, 2025 Asuka Mohip was born on January 3, 1964 to Ramdial (deceased) and Sheila Mohip in Couva, Trinidad. In August 1969 he migrated with his family to Brooklyn, New York. He attended PS244 until his family moved in May 1977 to Brandon, Florida. Soka was a good student and graduated from Brandon High School in June 1982. He went on to trade school and became a master welder working at Tampa Shipyards. In 1986 he joined the family business, RAMCO in Plant City and worked along side with his Dad. Sok was learning auto mechanic and being an exceptional customer service rep. The business was sold and in 1991 Sok became a certified nurses aide CNA and worked in nursing home caring for the elderly. Sok in July 1997 had emergency open heart surgery with quadruple bypass surgery. It was a very difficult recovery and he was disabled going forward. He continued to live on his own until 2010 when his Dad passed. He was his Mom's companion and partner. Looking after the yard, garden and making sure Mom was okay. His health started failing in Covid Era and 2024 he had many health issues. He passed in his sleep on Saturday morning February 22, 2025 at the age of 61 years old. Asuka was never married or had any children. He is survived by: Mom/Sheila Mohip Siblings/spouses and their families Annie and Clyde Seudath Vinode and Hannah Rajay and Taeko; Reona, Kotarou and Kaili Annand and Beena Mohip Sarina and Mike; Amila and Aasha Nisha and Akash; Araya Avind and Gail Mohip Avind Jr and Yoelin; Madelyn, Lily, Cooper and Jack Cristina, Jocelyn; Karina and Papa Aminie Mohip Sarah and Steve Alireza and Sofia; Rahan Astrey and Manoj Parwani Naresh and Shivani Our Mohip and Ramparass families are sending their love and support from Trinidad, Puerto Rico, Canada, England and USA. We appreciate all the love and support from our local families and friends. Thank you all.
