Bowers, Annie M. 95 of Seffner, FL, formerly of Queens, NY, died peacefully on April 24, 2013 surrounded by her family and went on to be with the Lord. Annie was predeceased by her husband, Alfred B. Bowers who was truly the love of her life, parents, James and Corine Baker, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Anne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed taking care of her family, She will be missed and mourned by daughters, Denise (Rodney) Pate, Seffner, FL, Cathy (Claude) Etheridge, Valrico , FL; son, Warren (Diane) McLaurin of Valrico, FL; grand and great grandchildren: Elijah (Dana) Pate, Shareef Hill, Tiffany Pate, Jeneice Goodwin, Christopher, Alexander, Felicia and Tatiana Etheridge; Indiyah Sims, Nasir and London Pate, Zion Marshall-Pate, and Jael Brown. A host of nieces, nephews and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff at DSI of Brandon, Hawthorne Village and Life Path Hospice for their outstanding care and compassion during the past several months also those who showed concern and cared for our mother through their thoughts and prayers. We know that our Mom and Dad are now dancing the waltz in heaven.
