Akers, Annette Jean, 71, of Valrico, went to be in the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on March 6, 2015. She was born in Corydon, IN, July 14. 1943. Annette was predeceased by her loving husband of 44 years, Michael Akers. Family meant the world to Annette. She will be deeply missed by her 4 children, Doug (Kendra), Craig (Kris), Chris, and Danielle (Rick), along with 7 grandchildren who were the light of her life, Andrew, Aubrey, Brooke, Mikayla, Shianne, Abby, and Conner. Annette was an avid member of St. Stephen Catholic Church where she spent most of her time serving the Lord. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Monday, March 9, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 9:30 am at St. Stephen Catholic Church. Burial will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
