Obituary

Anna Grace Landry Lee "Kiki", 80 years young, passed on July 29, 2011 after a brief illness. She was born October 10, 1930 in Exeter, NH to Omer A. and Grace C. Landry. The oldest girl, she quit school at age 14 and went to work helping to support a large family of nine siblings. She married Edwin D. Lee, Jr. "Ted" in Exeter on April 19, 1952 and they remain soul mates to this day. She was often teased about being chosen Miss DAV (Disabled Veteran) when she was a young woman, but wore that winning smile throughout her entire adult life. As a beautician, devoted wife and loving mother, she helped make a better life for her career Navy family. While a military wife she lived in many towns on the east and west coasts, as well as Hawaii. In retirement she and Ted traveled the country in an RV reuniting with their many friends and making many more. She always loved humor and jokes, pictures of friends and family, and keeping in touch with their many friends around the country. Their biggest disappointment was that they were never able to make a road trip to Alaska.Kiki is survived by her husband of 59 years Ted, children Robert E. Lee & Laurie A. Lee; grandchildren Aaron J. Lee and Casey L. Daigle-Matos; siblings Homer Landry, Ralph Landry, John Landry, June Cole, Lucille Moreau, Maxine Canney, and Irma Wright. She was predeceased by her sisters Sonya Landry and Shirley Lord.
