Celebration of Life
Celebration of Life
3:00 - 6:00 pm (Eastern time)
Ann Harvey, 83, of Lithia, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026, surrounded by family.
Ann was born on March 29, 1942, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and grew up in Scarsdale, New York. She was a longtime resident of Fairfield, Connecticut, before moving to nearby Stratford. She later relocated to Florida to be closer to the grandchildren that she adored.
Ann will be remembered for her warm heart, her generous spirit, and the joy she brought to those around her. She had a gift for making people feel welcomed and loved. Whether she was planning or hosting a gathering, cooking for those she loved, playing cards around the table, or simply sharing stories and laughter, Ann created moments that will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her. She found deep happiness in life's simple pleasures, such as watching the Florida sunsets at the beach, spending time with family and friends, reading, and enjoying a glass of wine.
Her greatest pride and joy was her family. She is survived by her two children, Kathy (Rob) and David (Ojaswi); her brother John; and her cherished granddaughters Maya and Sydney, who brought her endless happiness. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ruth McNamara, and her brother, Jim.
Ann's love, kindness, and beautiful spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 3:00-6:00 at 410 Forest Breeze Ave Brandon, FL. 33511
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a charity close to Ann’s heart that she supported for many years.
