Celebrating the Life
Of
Angela Gloria Phillips-Moore
Sunrise: January 16, 1939 - Sunset: February 17, 2023
Angela Gloria Phlilips-Moore, a loving wife, sister, aunt and friend, peacefully passed away at the age of 84 at her home in Florida on February 17, 2023.  She was born on January 16, 1939 in Colon, Republic of Panama to the late Harold and Doalice Anastacia Philipps.
Angela was the eldest of three sisters, proceeded by Audrey Phillips-Caesar and Catalina Phillips-Jones. During her early years in Panama, Angela was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church in Colon and graduated from Abel Bravo College. She worked in the Free Zone in Panama for 5 years before migrating to the United States in 1970, where she became a U.S. citizen.
Angela met the love of her life, Ralph Moore, while working together in New York City.  The two fell in love and married in 1972.  They lived in Flatbush, Brooklyn for many years before deciding to relocate to Florida in 2007. Angela and Ralph were life partners, and celebrated 51 wonderful years of marriage, until his passing on April 14, 2022.
Angela was known as a kind, engaging, stylish woman with a huge heart and infectious laugh. She was a social butterfly, who enjoyed dancing, chatting with friends and entertaining at her home. As a family matriarch, she was very instrumental in raising her nephews and neice, Antonio, Omar and Rosalia. Her relationship with her niece deserves special mention, as Rose selflessly devoted timeless attention, affection and love to Angela's care throughout her illness. Angela touched many lives, and will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her and missed dearly by her family, friends and community.
Angela is survived by her sisters Audrey Phillips-Caesar (Antonio), Catalina Phillips-Jones (Arthur), her step- children LaTonya and Ralph Moore; nieces Rosalia Williams (Ronald, Sr.), Yolanda (Richard), Yvette and Yvonne;  nephews Antonio Caesar, Jr. (Dawne), Omar Caesar (Cassandra); grandnieces Naima Caesar Robinson, Brittani Williams, Grace Williams and Alexa Caesar; grandnephews Ronald Williams, Jr., Omar Caesar, Jr., Chase Caesar and a host of relatives and friends.
