IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Angel Luis
Garcia
March 21, 1951 – October 27, 2023
On the morning of October 27, 2023 Angel Luis Garcia passed away peacefully at his home in Riverview, Florida as a result of Lewy Body Dementia.
Angel was born on March 21, 1951 in Naguabo, Puerto Rico to Francisca Gomez and Agustin Garcia. He grew up in New York City, in the borough of Manhattan along with his siblings Lucy, Augustus, Nelson and Rose.
Angel received an associate degree in applied science at New York City Community College in 1971 and shortly after he started his career as a contract administrator at the World Trade Center. He had worked at a few other construction firm companies for long periods of time in that position during his career. He retired in January 2017.
On December 1, 1973 he was introduced, by his youngest sister Rose, to his forever love, Miriam Rosado. Angel and Miriam were married on July 8, 1976 in Queens, New York. They had four children, Alexander, Jaclyn, Christine and Kirk. They raised their family together in Holbrook, New York in Long Island and lived in the same home for 40 years before moving to Riverview Florida in 2018. Angel and Miriam were blessed with 47 years of a happy and healthy marriage together.
Angel's passions and hobbies were reptiles, animals, art and watching all sports but most of all his passion was his family. He was an extraordinary husband, father, son, brother and uncle who showed his unconditional love through his choices, sacrifices and the quality time he spent with his family throughout his life.
Angel is survived by his wife Miriam; his four children Alexander, Jaclyn, Christine and Kirk; his daughter-in-law Kimberly and son-in-law Taylor; his six grandchildren Jasmine, Cameron, Riley, Chase, Crew and Cora; his sister Lucy, his brother Nelson and his sister-in-law Juanita.
