Andrew Glinn Thomas, 67, born on July 29, 1955 in Richland, GA went to be with his Lord and Savior while at his home in Riverview, FL on April 8, 2023.Waiting to join him in heaven, he goes before his loving wife of 33 years, Angelina, his three children, Stephanita , Andrea, and Andrew Jr., grandchildren, sisters, brother, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many beloved friends. Andrew loved the Lord and took great pride in being a father. He was so grateful for his life increasing wide range of handyman knowledge, ready to teach and direct his "know how" to get things done. Ask anyone and they'll agree, he was assertive to help even if he was physically unable to. He had a funny way of giving advice, if you didn't take it, he'd just repeat himself til you did. His life revealed he was a proud United States Air Force Veteran. His retirement passions were woodworking, taking care of his plants, flowers, and garden. We all know he was quick to show with a social media post of its progress and beauty. He was always ready to go fishing but mostly, he loved being a devoted First Impressions greeter and "Ironman" servant at church. I'm sure you all agree he was a fun, spirited soul who always found joy in conversing about good Georgia home cooking, most sports, especially the New England Patriots, his latest Invicta watch or new sneaker or shoe. He took much pride in demonstrating his strong will to survive life's difficulties. It's how he met his wife, being a volunteer amputee counselor at a rehabilitation center. His Faith in God and strong will provided him to appear unstoppable and stronger than his health challenges. He showed us all how to endure with a smile, how to push through tough times and the best way to meet the Lord, taking a nap. He will be greatly missed forever.
