Andrea Marie Chang ("Ann", "Chang", "Grandma", "G-Ma"), age 56, passed away in her Valrico home on March 17, 2023, surrounded by her beloved fur babies and pictures of her family and friends. Andrea was well-loved and will be dearly missed by her surviving family members: Synue "Sonny" (father), Hope (mother), Eleanor (sister), Andrew (brother) and nieces and nephews Brianna, Tatiana, Marshall, Tyler and Ryan, and all her close friends she considered as part of Her Family.

Andrea was born February 9, 1967 in Kingston Jamaica and came to the United States with her father when she was 19 months old, to rejoin her pregnant mother and soon-to-be sister, Eleanor. She graduated Valhalla High School in 1985 where she excelled in sports and being a good friend to so many.

Ann majored in Business Management at Westchester Community College but realized early on that she was not a "desk person", so her exciting career path consisted of: Restaurant Manager, Restaurant Entrepreneur, Sales Manager, Audio Ease co-founder, Account Manager, pawn shop Assistant Manager and her last position with the US Postal Service. Throughout her life she lived in New York (Manhattan, Bronx, Westchester County), Atlanta Georgia and Florida (Orlando, and her final home in Valrico).

Andrea was definitely one of a kind! She struggled with Lupus for most of her life but yet managed to be one of the kindest, "talkative" people you will ever meet. She made close friends wherever she went, be it a co-worker, neighbor, or even people on her mail routes. Her illness didn't stop her from making people laugh with her crazy experiences or from giving anyone a hug in need. She was always taking in stray animals because she couldn't bear the thought of anything bad happening to them. Ann loved her family and friends intensely and kept everyone close to her big, loving heart! She will be remembered as the song
says, "I Did It My Way!!"
