Allan Joseph Veinotte, 78, from Seffner FL, left us to eternally join our heavenly Father on August 5, 2017. He is survived by his wife Theresa Veinotte, daughters Susan Wilkinson, Mary Hayes and Alice Veinotte, 3 son-in-laws, 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many friends. He was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Laura and Nancy, his parents Leslie & Estelle Veinotte and brother, Leslie Jr. Al served 20 years defending our freedom in the US Air Force. He also worked as a Sheriff Deputy for Hillsborough County and as a Probation Corrections Specialist for the State of Florida. Al was a graduate cum laude from St. Leo University, a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Catholic Men's Club. He served on various boards and volunteered for many church and school functions. He was the true meaning of "Gentle Giant". Al was 6'6" and to all of his loved ones, the strongest and smartest man on the planet. He had a way of making people smile with his wit and humor. His smile, love, and strength will always be missed. Services will be held on Friday, August 11th at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 4450 County Rd 579, Seffner, FL 33584. Viewing 2:30 - 3:30pm and mass at 4pm with Military Honors and a reception to follow.
