Alice Carreno Wells, 56, of Tampa passed away July 2, 2011. Born in Ybor City and raised in South Tampa, she was the adoring wife of Benjamin, the loving mother of Joshua and Ashley, the doting grandmother of Samuel, and the beloved little sister to Jean Phillips (Phil) and Sandra Attmore (Bill). She was an inspiration to all who knew her, and a strong and courageous soul. She was preceded in death by her son Joshua, and parents Servando and Josephine Carreno. She leaves behind countless cherished memories, and the family and friends that were blessed to have shared in her life. There will be a mass on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 10:00 am at Nativity Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and LifePath Hospice.
