Irene, Alfredo, Jr., 70, of Dover, passed away on September 30, 2019. Alfredo proudly served in the US Army and the US Navy. He retired from the US Navy where he worked as an Aviation Electrician. He is survived by his loving family, wife Luz Irene; children, Ray Gonzalez, Teresa Irene, Ronald (Nicola Benables) Irene, Robert (Allison) Gonzalez, Jennifer (Ronald J.) Kartz, and Carolina (Carlos Munoz) Tumbajoy; siblings, Juanita Irene, Juan Irene, Justina Irene, Joe Irene, and Luis Irene; grandchildren, Aylah, Amanda, Aubrey, Alisa, Joshua, Jessica, Robert, Amelia, Ashley, Marcus, Natasha, Tamara, Daniel, Samuel, Freddy, Nicole, and Valentina; and great-grandchildren, Riley, Victoria, Ayden, Aleighna, Beckett. There will be a visitation on Monday, October 7, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 10:00 am at Nativity Catholic Church in the chapel. He will be laid to rest at Sarasota National Cemetery on Tuesday at 2:00 pm.
