Roberts, Alan Anthony "Al", 65, of Lithia passed away on December 25, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 17, 1948 in Altoona, Pennsylvania to Anthony and Ann Roberts. Al is survived by his wife Susan (Lynn) Roberts. Al holds a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and Social work. Al served his country proudly in the Vietnam War. For his service he was awarded a National Defense Service Medal, a Vietnam Service Medal, a Vietnam Campaign Medal, and also a marksmanship ribbon. Along with is wife, Al is survived by children; Heather Unger, Gretchen Grenz, and Capritta Roberts, grandchildren; Michael Boldizar, Steven Boldizar, William Sedelmeyer, Kaitlyn Grenz, Matthew Unger, Paige Grenz, Emma Grenz, and Jamin Grenz, siblings; Judith Pearlman, Leslie Thompson, and Douglas Roberts. A Funeral service will take place on Saturday December 28, 2013 at 2pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. The family will receive guests from 1pm to the start of the service.
