IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Alan Gabriel
Bustamante
January 25, 1983 – January 14, 2026
In Loving Memory of Alan Gabriel Bustamante
Alan Gabriel Bustamante lived his life with a profound sense of purpose and a heart dedicated to others. On January 14, 2026, the Riverview community lost a man of immense kindness, integrity, and quiet strength.
Originally from Lima, Peru, Alan moved to the United States and built a life defined by service. In his career within the human services field, he didn't just hold a job; he held a hand. He stood by people in their most vulnerable hours, providing the steady guidance and compassion they needed to find their way forward.
To his family, Alan was the "North Star." As the eldest of three brothers, he led by example, working tirelessly and without complaint to ensure those he loved were always cared for. When he wasn't looking after others, Alan immersed himself in the worlds of art and storytelling. Whether he was strategizing in team-based games or curating his cherished collections, he found deep meaning in the creativity and connection that his hobbies brought into his life.
Alan's legacy of hard work, sacrifice, and love lives on through his mother, Norma Rita; his brothers, Jason Derek and Ryan Phillip; his niece, Joanna Ilene; and his nephews, Rico Charles and Romeo Nikolas Bratlien.
