Adelaide Pferdehirt Nugent, "Addie", died peacefully at the age of 97 on Feb. 12, 2017 in Brandon, FL. Addie was born in 1919 near Pittsburgh, graduating from Wilkinsburg H.S. 1937. She served in the Navy WAVES 1942-1945. She married William F Nugent (retired U.S. Navy) May, 1946, in Arlington, VA, before moving to St. Petersburg in 1947. Bill died in 1981. Addie's daughter, Dr. Patricia Nugent Jeansonne, a longtime Brandon pediatrician, preceded her in death in May, 2016. Addie is survived by her son-in-law, Jim Jeansonne, grandchildren Aimee J Becka, Marcella J Kloiber, Leo Jeansonne, and great grandchildren, Xander and Lexi Kloiber. A celebration of her life will be held at Serenity Meadows, 6919 Providence Rd, Riverview, Thu, Feb. 16th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 5049 Bell Shoals Rd, Valrico at 10 am, Fri Feb. 17, followed by a private burial at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Clearwater. In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations to Bandon Outreach Clinic.
